Healthcare

A large number of people living together, sharing food, living quarters and toilets presents a high risk for spreading disease, even more so when it is children. Strong emphasis must therefore be given to preventative health care – ensuring children don’t get sick – rather than merely treating health problems once they arise. Good hygiene, nutritious food and vaccinations are all important parts of preventative medicine.

For example, the experience of one school in the area shows that through supplementing children’s food with multivitamins most of the common problems like winter colds and coughs were almost completely avoided.

A doctor of international medicine with many years of experience working in the area has agreed to take care of the initial medical needs of the children and set up practices for health care, vaccinations, hygiene and nutrition.
